  • 1 medium organic avocado
  • 1 organic banana
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger
  • 1/2 inch fresh turmeric optional
  • 1 scoop bone broth protein powder unflavored
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut water not from concentrate

Instructions

  • Add the spinach, banana, avocado, ginger, turmeric, and bone broth protein powder to a high-speed blender. Top with the frozen pineapple, then pour the coconut water over everything.
2 cups frozen organic pineapple, 2 cups fresh organic spinach, 1 medium organic avocado, 1 organic banana, 1/2 inch fresh ginger, 1/2 inch fresh turmeric, 1 scoop bone broth protein powder, 1 1/2 cups coconut water
  • Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until the smoothie is completely smooth and creamy. If it's too thick, add another splash of coconut water until it reaches your desired consistency.
  • Pour into two glasses and enjoy immediately while cold. For a heartier breakfast, turn it into a smoothie bowl by using less liquid and topping it with fresh pineapple, banana slices, shredded coconut, chia seeds, or your favorite homemade granola.

Notes

  • Frozen mango is a delicious substitute for pineapple.
  • Coconut milk creates an extra creamy smoothie.
  • Freeze ripe bananas ahead of time for an even thicker texture.
  • Add chia seeds or hemp hearts for extra fiber and healthy fats.
  • This smoothie is naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free.
