Ingredients

Optional Ingredients

  • fresh orange or lime juice
  • coconut water powder in place of the potassium (refer to the blog post for the recipe)

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients into a bowl. If you are making the flavored version with the coconut water powder (instead of potassium) then I recommend sifting the coconut powder into the bowl to break up any clumps
1/2 cup Redmonds real salt, 1/4 cup potassium chloride, 3 tbsp magnesium glycinate powder
  • Whisk the ingredients together with a whisk or spoon until all of the powders are well combined
  • Store in an airtight container or glass jar
  • When ready to use, add 1/4 tsp to a 8-12oz glass of water and enjoy! I also love to add a sqeaze of lime or orange for added flavor and vitamin C.

Individual Serving Size Option

  • If you want to make an individual serving size before making the bulk amount, you can do so by adding 1/4 tsp of salt, 1/8 tsp of potassium and a scant 1/8 tsp of magnesium to an 8-12 oz cup of water
For the coconut water version you can add 1 tbsp of the coconut water powder, 1/4 tsp of salt, and 1/8 tsp of magnesium to an 8-12 oz glass of water
As previously mentioned, you can squeeze in fresh lime juice or orange juice to either variation for added vitamin C and a refreshing sweet flavor.

Notes

If you prefer the flavored version, which uses coconut water powder, you can refer to the blog post for the full recipe!
