Easy Oven Roasted Asparagus (How To Make Perfect Asparagus Every Time)

Oven roasted asparagus is a favorite go-to dinner side dish in our family. Because it is easy, healthy, and delicious. It takes me about 5 minutes to prep and 10-15 minutes to cook. If you stick to this recipe, you will have crispy perfectly roasted asparagus that is full of flavor. No mushy or stringy asparagus here. In addition, it comes together in minutes using just a few pantry staples like olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F oven. Line a baking sheet or sheet pan with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Place the asparagus spears directly on the baking sheet in a single layer.Drizzle the olive oil over the asparagus and toss right on the pan so you don’t need a separate bowl.
    1 bunch organic asparagus, 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper and toss again to evenly coat.
    1/2 tsp sea salt, pepper
  • Roast for 10 to 15 minutes depending on the thickness of the asparagus stalks. Thin asparagus will be closer to 10 mins and thick asparagus will be closer to 15 mins.
